At Kmart it’s not just what you do, it’s who you are that makes every day living brighter.

We’re focusing on being a customer-led, digitally enabled retailer. Join our team, choose your own path and work on projects that excite you.
Â
Join our team
Kmart is continuing to modernise and optimise our international supply chain, improving how products move from suppliers around the world through to our distribution centres and stores across Australia and New Zealand. Â Our International Supply Chain (ISC) platform plays a key role in providing visibility, coordination, and control across this network.
We’re looking for an Iteration Manager to join the team on a 12‑month fixed term basis, supporting delivery across this space.  You’ll work closely with engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and external logistics vendors.  This role is more externally facing than a typical IM position, acting as a key point of coordination between Kmart and our vendor partners to ensure delivery commitments are understood, aligned, and achieved.
You’ll play a critical role in keeping delivery on track, maintaining strong relationships, and helping teams navigate competing priorities across internal systems and external integrations.
Â
What you’ll be doing
Â
- Facilitating agile ceremonies including planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives to keep delivery moving.
- Collaborating with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align iteration goals, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
- Supporting iteration planning by ensuring user stories are well-defined, estimated, prioritised, and ready for development.
- Monitoring sprint progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team capacity to ensure predictable delivery.
- Identifying, managing, and removing delivery impediments to enable teams to achieve iteration commitments.
- Promoting Agile best practices, fostering continuous improvement, and facilitating retrospective actions to enhance team performance.
- Ensuring adherence to the team's Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, supporting the delivery of high-quality, business-ready solutions.
- Tracking dependencies, risks, and issues across both internal and external delivery streams.
- Supporting delivery planning and helping maintain stability within sprints, avoiding unplanned work and disruption.
- Contributing to delivery outcomes across multiple initiatives, with opportunities to take on small project responsibilities where required.
Â
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
Â
- Experience working as an Iteration Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with external vendors or third‑party partners.
- Confidence managing conversations around timelines, expectations, and delivery outcomes.
- Ability to influence without authority, particularly in situations with limited visibility or control.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to keep multiple parties aligned.
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or integration‑heavy environments is advantageous.
- A practical, adaptable approach, with the ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities.Â
Â
Perks and benefits we’ll offer you:
- Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy, spending 60% of your week in our National Office
- We’ll provide multiple ways for you to learn from online micro-credentialing in Udemy, support to gain certifications to tech community events and more.
- Great career opportunities across the broader Wesfarmers Group.
- We offer inclusive leave and ongoing support for team members of all backgrounds and family circumstances.
- Free onsite parking when you’re required to come into the office.
- We want you to feel rewarded for your commitment and hard work that's why everyone gets the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
- A team member discount card that gives you a discount at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, and Officeworks.
- A free OnePass membership offering free delivery across Kmart &Â Target on eligible products.
- Access to the Brighter Benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health – with over 60 suppliers!
- Reflection room, space for prayer, meditation, or time for yourself.
