Kmart Inventory Managers are crucial to our company’s success. They lead team members to deliver a high standard of customer experiences through effective store merchandising and replenishment. They ensure a safe and compliant stores through execution of store processes and leadership of team members. Store Inventory Managers are process leaders and executors in our stores, they navigate complex environments and implement business initiatives, ensuring the store operates smoothly and delivers strong outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
✅ Leadership & Motivation – Lead by example through a hands-on approach, working alongside team members to provide support, foster collaboration, and motivate individuals to achieve shared goals and high performance.
✅ Strategic Thinking – Seeks out new ways to optimise store operations and improve inventory processes, testing new approaches, analysing results, and refining methods to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
✅ Relationship Building – Keeps everyone informed to avoid surprises, fostering collaboration and unified approach while actively seeking input, valuing diverse perspectives and recognising individual contributions.
✅ Operational Excellence – Quickly identify and address process issues using metrics and benchmarks to uncover gaps, continuously refining workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes while eliminating waste and streamlining operations.
✅ Resilience & Adaptability – Demonstrate accountability by owning outcomes and ensuring goals and standards are consistently achieved.
