Our Distribution team

Getting the products we love into the hands of happy customers is what we do best, from the remote countryside to coastal towns and big cities and everywhere in between. As you know, our distribution teams play a big role in our business.
You'll be joining a highly motivated team that prides itself on having a super-fast supply chain network unloading, sorting, and sending products out to the store network.


What you’ll be doing

As an Inventory and Planning Manager in our Customer Fulfilment Centre, you’ll:       

  • To lead the management and optimisation of the DC Inventory through ensuring accurate and efficient processes are maintained to manage inventory integrity from Supplier Delivery to Store Receipt
  • Planning and prioritisation of containers inbound to meet customer needs and avoid Kmart cost
  • Planning of inbound volume to optimise site performance


To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics Information Systems
  • Experience in leading inventory integrity processes such as cycle counting, auditing and discrepancy investigations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and application of lean principles
  • Desire for continuous improvement to innovate find a better way of working
  • Ability to represent key user interests and influence/motivate others effectively
  • Strong personal integrity, specifically the desire the do things the right way and accurately
