Join the team

We are seeking an experienced Learning systems specialist to join our People & Capability Team.  Reporting to our Manager, Systems & Governance (Learning), you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the organisation's Learning Systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal utilization of the learning systems to support the training and development needs of team members across Kmart, Target, Anko and KGA.

 

What you’ll be doing

As a Learning Systems Specialist working for Kmart you will:          

  • Implement system configurations to align with business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Conduct integration checks and validations to ensure data accuracy between the learning systems and other integrated systems or platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Perform regular audits and tests to verify data accuracy and integrity in integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide guidance on system setup and configuration options.
  • Monitor and manage the team inbox for queries related to the learning systems and other learning technology-related inquiries.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance to internal stakeholders.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their strong working experience in managing a Learning Management System. 

  • Previous involvement in system upgrades, migrations, or implementations, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and develop custom reports and dashboards to visualize learning data, including course enrollment, completion rates, assessment scores, and learner engagement.
  • Ability to lead stakeholder engagements using human centred design concepts, with a systems mindset and to promote best practice technical outcomes in learning and digital solutions
  • Experience with system configuration, including user roles, and permissions.
  • Strong Project Management skills including briefing, scoping, planning, and delivering to agreed timeframes.
  • Advanced computer skills for the Microsoft office suite, including excel. Power BI skill is a plus.
