As a Marketplace Growth Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Marketplace Sales team, driving seller success, marketplace revenue, and customer satisfaction.

 

 

What You Will Be Doing

 

The Marketplace Growth Partner drives the growth of the Kmart Marketplace by acquiring high-potential sellers and managing their success through strategic account development. This role will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value sellers. This ensures a thriving, diverse, and high-performing seller ecosystem that drives marketplace revenue and customer satisfaction.

 

The primary focus is to execute the Kmart Marketplace strategy through targeted outreach, commercial negotiation, seller journey support, and data-driven account management strategies. This is a foundational role in the Marketplace Sales team.

 

You will also:

  • Drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) growth and improve contribution margin.
  • Execute strategic category plans to expand assortment, increase brand density, and align pricing with customer expectations.
  • Build strong seller relationships and support their engagement in promotional programs and loyalty initiatives.
  • Use data insights to optimise seller performance and ensure alignment with Kmart’s commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

 

Seller Acquisition & Portfolio Growth

  • Identify, pitch, and onboard sellers aligned with category strategy
  • Measures: Number of new sellers, time to activation, quality benchmarks

Category Strategy Execution

  • Expand assortment, increase brand density, and optimise pricing
  • Measures: Category performance, brand conversion rates

Seller Satisfaction & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships and drive participation in Kmart programs
  • Measures: Seller NPS, retention, promotional participation rate

Financial Performance

  • Drive GMV growth and improve contribution margin
  • Measures: Revenue per seller, profitability metrics
