The Agile Enablement Practice at Kmart is pivotal in driving transformative change and empowering our teams to excel in the fast-paced landscape of digital retail. Comprised of dedicated professionals with diverse expertise, this practice is committed to advancing Agile methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across our organisation.


As Technology Commercial and Workforce Manager, you will lead a small team and play a critical role in managing our vendor relationships, licencing, and cost control. Working closely with diverse stakeholders across our IT portfolio of over 900 staff, you will drive cost reduction, improve efficiencies, optimise workflows, and promote continuous improvement throughout our digital initiatives.
 

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee the management technology contracts, vendor agreements and solution licensing.

  • Negotiate contract renewals to secure favourable terms and cost savings.

  • Manage workforce planning reporting to refine the balance of internal staff numbers and capabilities, against statement of work consultants.

  • Review technology-related costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies.

  • Oversee the management the invoicing process for the technology group, working closely with the HR and Finance to configure systems and processes to effectively meet the technology functions needs.

  • Ensure compliance and currency of contracts for consultants on site.


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Extensive experience in technology procurement, contract management, or vendor negotiations.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on optimizing costs and efficiencies.

  • Experience in purchase order creation and managing invoicing processes.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with corporate systems and configurations, familiarity with Snow is beneficial.
