We’re looking for a proactive and agile Supplier Manager to take the lead in managing the contractual and performance aspects of key supplier relationships as well as high value contract renewals. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to drive value, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk, while fostering strong partnerships that support our strategic goals.

 

You’ll monitor and enhance supplier performance, deliver on cost and quality outcomes, and play a pivotal role in procurement projects that help us deliver exceptional results for our business and customers.

 

What you’ll be doing
        

  • Analyse spend and market data to develop supplier segmentation, prioritisation, and performance strategies in consultation with business owners.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and results.
  • Lead regular supplier performance reviews, tracking performance against contract deliverables and KPIs.
  • Lead contract renewals across a broad range of goods and services, ensuring business continuity and meeting value delivery objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and process improvement, addressing performance gaps where needed.
  • Provide helpful and timely Procurement advisory support to business teams.
  • Manage expectations and resolve issues with a customer-focused approach to gain buy-in on solutions.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar Supplier Manager role, or similar role within Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Strong experience within the Procurement space leading end-to-end process.
  • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or business-related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong experience with procurement and contract management systems.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in building Power BI reports highly desirable.
  • A proactive and adaptable nature, with a passion for learning and growing within the field.
