With Kmart Group's recent strategy refresh and a number of exciting strategic programs across the business, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Strategic Projects Manager to play a pivotal role in continuing to shape and execute our future strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, this position provides an exciting platform to demonstrate your expertise in strategic project delivery and elevate it to new heights!Â

What you’ll be doing
 Â
As a Strategic Projects Manager working for Kmart Group, you will:Â Â Â Â Â Â
   Â
- Lead cross-functional working groups in the end-to-end discovery and delivery of high-priority strategic initiatives.
- Extract insights from complex analysis (with a focus on translating commercial outputs into insights to inform decision making)
- Undertake rigorous financial analysis and assessment of investment decisions across the Kmart Group.
- Support the strategic planning process, including the development of the 5-year Corporate Plan for the Kmart Group.
- Interface between functional project management teams/stakeholders and the Leadership Team on strategy monitoring and reporting.
- Support investor relations and reporting requirements for the Kmart Group.
- Facilitate risk workshops across business units and corporate functions and deliver training programs, including both online e-learning modules and face-to-face sessions, to build risk and resilience capability among Kmart Group executives and business leaders.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:Â
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g.: Finance, Commerce, Project Management, Economics)
- Excellent hands-on financial modelling capability.
- Strong commercial acumen and good understanding of underlying P&L drivers.Â
- Ability to synthesise information to assess options, undertake problem solving and develop clear recommendations.  Â
- Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to delivery, in a large-scale corporate environment.
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking or commercial finance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
