In this role, you’ll act as the subject matter expert (SME) for our Store Order and Fulfilment (SOF) and Distributed Order Management (DOM) platforms hosted by Manhattan Associates. You'll provide Level 1 and 2 support, ensure operational stability, and drive configuration improvements that align with evolving business needs.

 

You’ll work closely with IT, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex problems.

 

What you’ll be doing 

As a Senior Systems Administrator working for Kmart Group, you will be:  

 

  • Acting as the SME for Manhattan Associates SOF and DOM platforms
  • Administering, configuring, and maintaining fulfilment systems to meet evolving business needs
  • Providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, resolving incidents to minimise operational disruption
  • Collaborating with internal IT, operations, and vendor teams to ensure system stability and performance
  • Recommending and implementing system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Documenting technical solutions, configurations, and operational procedures to support ongoing system health
  • Participating in the assessment of new technologies and contributing to risk management processes
  • Supporting agile delivery and service management practices, including ticket triage and incident response
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in fulfilment system processes
  • Ensuring alignment of system configurations with business workflows and strategic architecture


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a system administration or similar technical role
  • Proven expertise supporting Manhattan platform
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Demonstrated experience in agile delivery using SCRUM and/or KANBAN
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape and order management systems will be highly regarded
