The People and Capability Advisory team are a central hub of HR professionals who provide HR advice and support across both Kmart and Target, stores, offices and distribution centres. We’re a highly engaged team who utilise phone and email channels to provide meaningful interactions and impactful solutions to our stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior P&C Advisor - Employee Relations and Advisory Services you will:
- Provide expert HR advice in supporting our people leaders on conduct, performance, and other complex case matters.
- Manage Fair Work Australia and other applications, including advocacy.
- Navigate through a variety of HR industrial tools to confidently make decisions and provide case resolutions for stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop People & Capability Advisors in the team.
- Participates in team projects and leverages knowledge to assist with further learnings.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Proven senior experience in managing complex HR related matters from the beginning through to resolution stage.
- Extensive experience working in a generalist HR role with strong ER/IR exposure particularly in relation to conduct, performance, and non-work related injuries.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience coaching people managers and team members to enhance their ability to interpret HR industrial tools, policies and processes.
- Great relationship building, communication, negotiation, , influencing, coaching, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt and prioritise your workload.
- A pragmatic approach with the ability to problem solve, navigate through the grey, and achieve a solution and outcome.
