As a Senior Engineer within our International Supply Chain team, you will be supporting a variety of supply chain applications. The role will involve being part of a well-established team as well as will give you an opportunity to be involved in upcoming technology transformations.

 

What you’ll be doing?

 

  • Work in collaboration with Architects, Tech Lead and Engineering Manager to create development patterns
  • Understand technical designs and see them through the Agile development cycle
  • Support strong automation strategies and drive similar practices
  • Provide input to business for software solutions, estimates and specifications
  • Have passion for quality code
  • Help with supply chain technology roadmap
  • Mentor and support junior developers
  • Support application after hours on rotation (financial compensation is provided)

 

To be successful in the role you’ll have:  

 

  • 7+ years of experience in Java software development
  • Full-Stack capabilities are an advantage
  • Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Technologies (ECS or EKS, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools – GitHub actions, Jenkins, Buildkite etc is preferred
  • Preferred exposure to containerisation using Docker.
  • Familiarity of working in an Agile environment
  • Background in Supply Chain is highly desirable
