We have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Digital Analyst to join our high performing and dynamic team. The role reports to the Digital Insights Manager and is a key contributor to the “Customer Understanding” roadmap through defining requirements and providing valuable input to drive greater quality, depth, and accessibility in customer data.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Deliver a roadmap of data initiatives that identify efficiencies, unlock opportunities, and generate revenue. You will have access to large data sets, giving you the ability to make a tangible impact with your analysis.

  • Develop and distribute meaningful and actionable dashboards and reports for Personalisation and direct communication effectiveness

  • Drive commercial outcomes by providing impartial, hard-hitting analyses of accurate, trustworthy data that is meaningful and actionable

  • Providing intelligent and value add analysis by leveraging techniques that may include complex business logic and conceptual design, customer insights and segmentation, propensity modelling, control group creation/testing, next best action analysis, real time decisioning, ROI analysis, etc.

  • Collaborate with teams to formulate strategies and uncover opportunities

  • Drive better decision making through a data driven approach

  • Communicating complex concepts simply and translating outputs into actionable insights for business stakeholders

 

To be successful in this team you will have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (Quantitative field with coding ability preferred e.g. Computer science, Engineering, Statistics or similar)

  • Rxperience in a hands-on data analytics or science role

  • Experience leveraging strong SQL and Python programming skills to extract, manage and merge large volumes customer data and build both simple and complex optimisation models.

  • Strong strategic retail experience, with the ability to think outside the box, apply business logic, and develop bespoke analytical solutions.

  • Strong technical skills using SQL and Python or SAS to manipulate large volumes of customer behavioural/transaction data and build complex optimisation models  (e.g. SQL Teradata, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, Python, SAS Base or R)

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Microstrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, Quicksight, Qlik)

  • Identifying opportunities and conceiving novel ideas with stakeholders all around the business, be agile and not afraid thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Experience with Big Data and Cloud technologies, particularly AWS (EMR, Redshift, S3, etc.)

  • Deep hands-on experience with big, small, structured, unstructured and messy data

  • Ability to present analysis and insights to stakeholders/clients

  • Excellent verbal, written and data visualization skills with experience creating clear, concise and professional documents.

  • Excellent communication skills and empathy in dealing with technical and non-technical customers.
