The Kmart Digital Team is at the forefront of our online presence, driving innovation and ensuring a seamless online and mobile shopping experience for our customers. Comprising talented individuals from various disciplines, this dynamic team plays a vital role in shaping the future of retail in the digital age.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work with a cross-functional team of digital experts on initiatives that continue to drive innovation and constant improvement to our online shopping and digital marketing capabilities.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking ownership of the requirements gathering process, working closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document, and validate business needs and objectives.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable solutions, including process improvements, system enhancements, and technology implementations.

  • Acting as a catalyst for organisational change by facilitating stakeholder buy-in, conducting impact assessments, and developing change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of proposed solutions.

  • Participating in a promote Agile Ways of Working, in concert with Iteration and Delivery Managers.

  • Leveraging you advance communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced digital environment.


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Business Analyst operating in complex technology environments, ideally delivering large scale transformation projects.

  • A comprehensive understanding of Software Development, the SDLC and technical concepts.

  • A high degree of proficiency in Agile ways of working and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Miro and/or Mural and process mapping tools like Draw.io / Visio.

  • Outstanding documentation and communication skills as well prior experience collaborating with cross functional teams.

  • Experience working within retail / logistics environments is highly regarded.
