In this role, you’ll help shape the way we identify, manage, and respond to key risks across Kmart Group, with a strong focus on technology, cyber, and operational resilience.

Behind the scenes, our Risk & Resilience team plays a critical role in supporting that mission by ensuring our business stays strong, secure, and ready for anything.

What you’ll be doing

As a Risk & Resilience Specialist working for Kmart Group you will:

  • Supporting group-wide risk and resilience programs to embed an effective risk culture across Kmart Group.
  • Leading risk reviews and facilitating workshops to identify and manage business, cyber, and technology risks.
  • Designing and implementing risk frameworks, controls, and assurance processes that enable confident decision-making.
  • Supporting the ongoing maturity of our crisis and business continuity programs — ensuring our teams are trained, tested, and ready to respond.
  • Partnering with leaders across the business to integrate risk management into strategic and operational decisions.
  • Facilitate and lead the Major Incident Teams through resolving, investigating and responding to significant events.
  • Providing meaningful insights and reports to the Executive Team and Audit & Risk Committee.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in risk, resilience, or technology/cyber risk roles within large and complex organisations.
  • A degree in a relevant field (Qualifications such as CISM/CISA are an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of risk management standards.
  • Proven ability to design and implement risk and resilience frameworks in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills — able to translate complex risks into practical, actionable insights.
  • Curiosity, commercial thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
