Kmart is embarking on a transformation of it’s E2E supply chain to build the capacity and capability to enable the next period of growth. The program is inclusive of assets, automation and importantly the system and technology platforms that will deliver the future. The Next Gen team is laser focussed on developing the blueprint and bringing it to life. The systems that drive our domestic supply chain play a significant role in this transformation and the role of WMS Product Owner is the prime opportunity to partner with our technical teams to shape the future.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Overseeing the design, implementation, or delivery of processes, programs, and policies related to the WMS using your logistics knowledge and skills.
  • Managing project resources and teams to facilitate successful WMS implementation.
  • Developing business processes with internal customers (colleagues) to support the overall strategy and delivery of the WMS.
  • Managing internal stakeholders across technology, operations, and third-party vendors to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Track, measure, and be accountable for achieving product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as well as success measures at both the product and portfolio levels.
  • Ensure commercial and product success by measuring and showcasing the value delivered by your squad and how it contributes to the achievement of the OKRs of the strategic program

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • A background in Supply Chain. 
  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or Manager and be well versed with product life cycle, MVP and iterative development experience.
  • You think strategically and understand business dynamics, with demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment.
  • Exceptional planning, communication, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, knowing how to build & maintain relationships with stakeholders creating alignment and driving decision-making across stakeholders.
