Kmart Group are looking for a Payroll Advisor - Contract Management to join our People & Capability team and help us deliver accurate, compliant, and timely support to our store network.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and distributing contracts for weekly and monthly paid team members
• Approving and processing workflows/job requisitions in line with legislation and company requirements
• Providing managers with reports on contracts nearing completion and supporting role transfers or extensions
• Assisting the payroll team with queries, audits, and compliance reporting
• Investigating and resolving wage queries in a timely manner
• Collaborating with store management, employee relations, and advisory teams to troubleshoot issues
• Supporting workers compensation payments and leave requests
• Delivering accurate reporting and contributing to ad-hoc projects as required
  
  

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• 1–3 years’ experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Administration
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors (EC & ECP);
• A Certificate IV in Payroll/Recruitment/HR/Finance (preferred) or a High School Certificate (required)
• Understanding of compliance requirements and payroll/contract management regulations in the retail industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and correspondence
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders
• Integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to confidentiality in all aspects of your work
