What you’ll be doing
Â
As a NextGen CFC Process and Systems Manager at Kmart Group, you will: Â
Â
- Define business technology requirements for all manual and automated processes within our fulfilment network, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver streamlined, end-to-end fulfilment processes.
- Contribute to the layout and operational design of NextGen CFCs to enable flexible, safe, and future-proofed material flows.
- Pilot and test process and system enhancements within legacy CFCs to inform future deployments.
- Support delivery of service and cost outcomes by aligning fulfilment technology with broader business strategy.
- Partner with Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to implement and refine systems across the full project lifecycle.
- Maintain a customer-first mindset while driving continuous improvement in fulfilment operations.
 To be successful in this role you’ll have:Â
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar role within supply chain or ecommerce fulfilment.
- A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in implementing warehouse systems and automation technologies in high-volume, cost-sensitive environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end fulfilment operations within omni-channel businesses.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- A track record of driving innovation and process optimisation.
- The ability to translate business needs into system specifications and lead projects from design to execution.
- A collaborative, outcome-focused mindset and the ability to influence without formal authority.
- A tech-savvy, forward-thinking approach to systems and process innovation.
