We are seeking a highly organised and detailed orientated Lease Administrator to join our fast paced, high volume Lease Management Team on a 15 month contract basis reporting to the Head of Lease Management. Â

This role plays a critical role in the ongoing management of our lease portfolio of over 450 leases across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for managing landlord communications, maintaining accurate record of lease agreements and related charges, ensuring compliance with lease terms and supporting the overall lease management processes to optimise property management and financial performance.

What you’ll be doing
Â
- Daily management and distribution of incoming property related mail
- Monitoring, calculation and payment of Base Rental Reviews in accordance with lease terms
- Calculation of Percentage Rentals payments and accompanying audits
- Â Scrutiny and payment rates and taxes, insurance and extended trading hours charges
- Distribution of Insurance Certificates
- General overall administrative tasks relating to Lease Management
- Collaborate with landlords and internal departments to resolve lease related issues
Â
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
Â
- Prior lease administration experience within commercial and shopping centre/retail environments along with proficiency in the use of Lease Management software application Progenesis or similar will be highly regarded.
- 3-5 years’ experience in lease administration, preferably in a retail or commercial real estate environment
- Excellent communication and literacy skills with an ability to liaise, influence and communicate effectively with people at all levelsÂ
- Strong understanding of lease terms, the importance of data integrity and validation and lease related financials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret lease documentation and communicate clearly and professionally with landlords, internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage multiple leases and deadlines
- High level of analytical thinking and ability to challenge the status quo
- Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively management thereof
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as autonomously
