We have an exciting position for an Inventory & Forecast Manager to join our team.  You will be leading a team responsible for inventory forecasting, replenishment, and allocation to optimize service levels and inventory turnover. 
Working alongside the Merchandise & Bangalore Inventory peers to deliver exceptional availability and inventory productivity performance in order to maximise the departments financial results.
  
What you’ll be doing

 

As an Inventory & Forecast Manager working for Kmart you will:        

 
•    Build inventory management strategies that are in line with Kmart overall business strategy and performance goals.
•    Develop Inventory execution strategies which ensures Merchandise product strategies are delivered within jointly agreed parameters.
•    Ensure team members execute the Inventory Event calendar and provide timely action and feedback for the PIR process.
•    Review and maintain the integrity of Demand and Fulfilment Settings and parameters.
•    Analyse reporting to drive data driven commercial outcomes.
•    Optimize Local and Overseas order quantification and frequency of delivery Develop PIR and review processes in line with the Inventory governance structure.
•    Drove business consensus (S&OP) plans to align demand profiles to fulfilment actions.
•    Plan, coordinate, and effectively execute launches i.e. newlines, xmas, seasonal and tables to maximise sales opportunity.
 
To be successful in this role you’ll have:


•    Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
•    Proven experience in business analysis, particularly within inventory management and supply chain functions.
•    Expertise in allocations, demand forecasting, and fulfillment systems within a retail, wholesale, or manufacturing environment.
•    Demonstrated ability to influence and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
•    Aptitude for making data-driven commercial decisions and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
•    Experience in merchandise planning, project management, and dynamic problem-solving environments.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and convey complex information concisely.
•    Track record of executing action plans and delivering results in a timely manner.
