As the International Supply Chain (ISC) Operations Analyst, it is your role to oversee the integrity of data for all incoming shipments, including documentation and International Trade system data, for both sea and airfreight.

You will get exposure to initiation of the purchase order through to shipment and its final destination. Additionally, managing the performance of service providers in particular freight forwarders to ensure the achievement of KPI's. Working cross functionally within the customs and operations team, you will get to build key stakeholder relationships internally and across the wider organisation.

What you’ll be doing
Â
As an International Supply Chain Operations Analyst working for Kmart Group, you will be: Â
Â
- Ensure accurate data flow and integrity across merchandise, supply chain, and finance systems for sea and airfreight shipments.
- Action container line and purchase order error reports to maintain seamless data processes.
- Maintain reference tables for freight forwarder setups, cartage providers, and distribution centres.
- Audit Class A receipts against container quantities to ensure shipment documentation is complete.
- Monitor data accuracy for ocean, airfreight, and LCL shipments.
- Liaise with internal teams (Merchandise, Inventory, ISC, DSC, Tech) and external partners (freight forwarders, shipping lines).
- Track and report on service level metrics against EDI timelines; contribute to business reviews.
- Manage origin supply chain relationships and support SOP and international freight coordination.
- Handle customs and quarantine entries, product classification, and support DAFF interactions.
- Lead improvements in ISC processes, coach teams on import/export procedures, and identify efficiency opportunities.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:Â
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to a high volume/fast paced environment.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of supply chain and inventory processes and terminology.
- Experience dealing with customs and customs processes.
- Ideally experience working in a retail, or freight forwarder environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service mindset.
- Evidence of strong problem-solving skills and analytical way of thinking.
