Our Corporate Affairs team are growing and seeking an energetic, nimble and creative Internal Communications Partner to step in and drive strategic excellence across our Kmart and Target brands!   

  

You will have the chance to establish a comprehensive internal communication strategy as well as create and drive campaigns that align to the organisation’s overall goals and values. As a trusted advisor for key stakeholders across the business, you will be charged with and empowered to drive end to end campaign delivery from planning right through to content creation and execution of meaningful campaigns (inclusive of major events) that support our employee engagement strategy.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

As an Internal Communications Partner working for Kmart, you will:     

       

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and enhance employee engagement. 

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of internal communication campaigns. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, department heads, and employees. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communication matters, demonstrate an intrinsic capability to integrate and build cross-functional relationships and integrated communications plans. 

  • Develop high-quality, compelling content that resonates with employees and supports the organisation's messaging. 

  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all internal communication materials. 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication campaigns using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement. 
     

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • A background in Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Internal Communications, Marketing or External Affairs. 

  • An organised way of working, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines. 

  • A proactive mindset and be comfortable dealing with complex information. 

  • Experience and confidence in working closely with various stakeholders and cross functional teams. 

  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to forward plan and problem solve.
