We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Advanced Analytics to lead our enterprise-wide analytics transformation. This is a critical leadership position focused on building scalable, high-value data science solutions across key commercial and operational functions.

 

You will lead and inspire a team of senior data science managers, analytics leads, and analysts, turning complex data into practical solutions that improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, unlock sourcing value, and drive supply chain performance.

 

Success in this role depends on your ability to set a clear vision, align business and data priorities, lead large-scale programs, and foster a culture where analytics is trusted, actionable, and embedded

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the enterprise data science strategy across merchandise, sourcing, supply chain, and inventory domains.
  • Vision to Execution: Build and deliver a clear analytics roadmap with defined value outcomes and a scalable model for delivery.
  • Project & Program Management: Manage a portfolio of analytics initiatives, ensuring clarity of scope, structured delivery, and commercial impact.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing analytics team with deep functional expertise and strong collaboration.
  • Advanced Modeling: Oversee the development of predictive models, optimization engines, and scenario simulations that drive better decision-making.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional leaders to embed analytics in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Governance & Standards: Define best practices in analytics methodology, model validation, deployment, and impact tracking.
  • Cultural Leadership: Role-model data-driven behaviours and develop a culture of continuous learning and analytical thinking across the business.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 10+ years in data science or analytics roles, with strong experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and executing enterprise analytics strategy.
  • Deep expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, optimization, and applied forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, supply chain planning, sourcing, and merchandise management.
  • Strong project leadership, able to manage concurrent priorities with commercial accountability.
  • Advanced technical capability in Python, SQL, R or similar; experience with modern data platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to engage business stakeholders and influence decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop and retain top analytics talent while building a high-trust, high-performance culture.
