We have an exciting opportunity for Forecast Analyst to join our high performing and dynamic team. This role is based at our National Office in Mulgrave and reports to the Inventory Manager.
The Forecast Analyst is responsible for ensuring demand forecast integrity and accuracy is maintained, interpreting/translating and validating the outputs of the demand planning team

What you’ll be doing


•    Working closely with our Merchandise Planning team to optimise inventory levels and achieve financial KPI’s of sales, margin and stockturn
•    Support the business through improved forecasts and accurate reporting where you present key insights to stakeholders and influence decision-making.
•    Own the merchandise relationship, drive enhancements in forecast accuracy and ensure continuous improvement throughout the planning function
•    Ensure clear action plans and mitigation strategies are generated through utilization of demand planning reports
•    Build key inputs and strategies for the Demand TIR (Total Inventory Review) which supports execution of the Merchandise Product Strategy
•    Build and nurture relationships with all key stakeholders
 
To be successful in this role:
 
Our ideal candidate for this role is a driven and analytical individual who has a real strength in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders. We’d also love you to have:
 
•    Qualification in Data Analysis, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, Inventory, Supply Chain and logistics or related experience
•    Demonstrated skills in data analysis and reporting
•    Strong Excel and Power Bi skills
•    Experience within retail, wholesale or manufacturing
•    Effective and concise communication skills
•    Ability to present analysis and insights to stakeholders/clients
•    Excellent communication skills and empathy in dealing with technical and non-technical customers
