We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to lead the development and execution of our commercial trade and store profitability reporting. In this role, you will transform data into detailed reports that provide valuable insights, enabling informed decision-making to enhance store performance, optimise trade operations, and drive commercial growth.

 

This is a 6 month fixed term role - Applications close April 4th 2026

 

What you’ll be doing

 

As a Reporting Analyst working for Kmart Group you will:          

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and develop customized Power BI reports and data models.
  • Act as a bridge between business users, stakeholders, and data teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources into Power BI, optimizing data pipelines and reporting processes.
  • Create efficient semantic models and data visualizations that enhance report performance and provide valuable insights.
  • Enable self-service reporting and analytics, empowering users through training and support.
  • Transition manual reports to advanced tools like Power BI to streamline and enhance reporting efficiency.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, reporting analyst or Power BI Developer.
  • Proven skills in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI visuals and data models.
  • Strong technical skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL coding skills
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (desirable).
  • R/Python (desirable)
