As a QA Engineer, you will be our subject matter expert in quality assurance and testing practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead testing initiatives, develop test strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain the quality and performance of our applications.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Acting as the subject matter expert for quality assurance and testing practices within the team.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive automated test scripts and test cases for web and backend systems.
  • Implementing and managing automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, WebdriverIO, and BrowserStack.
  • Enabling thorough coverage of testing requirements and review them for completeness.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and use cases.
  • Executing tests, reporting issues, and working closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve bugs.
  • Maintaining a high standard of documentation for test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
  • Utilising AWS technologies for test automation and integration as required

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 3-5 years proven experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, WebdriverIO, or BrowserStack.
  • Experience in designing and executing test cases for backend systems.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and tools for implementing and running automated test processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and report complex issues effectively.
