We have an exceptional opportunity for a meticulous and solutions-oriented Digital Stores Data Analyst with a keen commercial acumen to join our dynamic Digital Stores Analytics team at Kmart and Target. Report directly to the Analytics Manager, playing a pivotal role as we reshape the future of our stores through our continued investment in cutting edge technology and automation, such as the use of RFID and Tory, our autonomous robot.Â

At the core of this position is the delivery of insightful data analytics and data-driven solutions, aimed at elevating operational performance and identifying opportunities within the Kmart and Target digital stores program. Your responsibilities encompass conducting hypothesis testing, and generating strategic recommendations to optimize overall business operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency and facilitating effective issue resolution.Â

What you’ll be doing
As a Digital Stores Data Analyst at Kmart Group, you will:  Â
Â
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and insights.
- Develop and implement analytical solutions to optimise operational performance and efficiencies, working with stores to test and provide context to products.
- Provide contextual guidance and interpretation of business requirements to the Bangalore data science and engineering teams.
- Ensure accuracy of data sources used for analysis.
- Continuously monitor and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of operations analytics systems and tools.
- Prepare analysis, validation and testing of new features and initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and to identify any issues.Â

To be successful in this role you’ll have:Â
Â
- 2+ years’ experience in data analytics related roles
- Experience with SQL and Python is preferred, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI will be well regarded.
- Exposure to working in an agile environment preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management capability.
- Clear communicator with an ability to ensure consistent messaging in relation to measuring business performance.
- Strong ability to manage multiple accountabilities and prioritise effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of curiosity with considered and pragmatic problem-solving skills.Â
