Our Cyber Security Group is a key pillar upholding Kmart’s reputation and standing as one of Australia’s most beloved brands.  They are charged with ensuring that our customers, suppliers, staff and partners data is collected, managed and maintained with the utmost security.

 

The Cyber Security Awareness & Adoption Lead is responsible for developing and driving initiatives that enhance cybersecurity knowledge and practices across an organisation.  This role focuses on creating awareness programs, training, and communication strategies to educate employees about security policies, threats, and best practices.  
 

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing, implementing, and managing programs aimed at cultivating a robust security culture within Kmart Group. This includes co-ordinating the development and delivery of security learning and awareness programs.

  • Delivering continuous training, communication and engagement to minimise security risks and protecting organisational assets by fostering a culture of security awareness.

  • Working proactively across the business and with venders to assess upcoming IT projects and their cybersecurity impacts on business operations


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skill, backed by outstanding written and verbal communication, and a consultative mindset.

  • Familiarity with instructional design to create effective training modules and awareness campaigns.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Cyber Awareness initiatives from conception through implementation - fostering participation from diverse stakeholders with varying technical competence.

  • Experience engaging with C-Level stakeholders to Ensure that the security awareness program aligns with the organisations broader business goals and objectives.

  • The ability to motivate behavioural change, Foster a security-centric culture.

  • Demonstrated understanding and some technical knowledge of cyber security principles, risks, concepts, and best practices including Antivirus & malware analysis, Encryption and Vulnerability management.

  • Knowledge of a broad range of standards and frameworks (ie; PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO/IEC) regulatory requirements and industry standards.
