Kmart are modernising and optimising our end-to-end supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, increase safety, and improve customer and team member satisfaction.
We are creating the next generation of our supply chain, and to achieve this, we will be advancing our technology and our supply chain operations.
There will be a focus across our warehouse management, transport/logistics, inventory optimisation, and demand and forecasting systems.
To help us enable the success of our next generation supply chain program, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team and work with our distribution staff and data analysts.
What you’ll be doingÂ
Â
- Work with stakeholders to map requirements and business processes to systems and applications.
- Work closely with the data team to understand the business processes and requirements for an incoming Data Warehouse solution.
- Work with architects to determine the best technical approach to address business problems.
- Produce artefacts that clearly articulate the user interaction, systems and business processes, design intent, assumptions, constraints and risks.
- Ensure delivery of functionality and integration meets the business requirement.
- Understand how functional requirements and upstream/downstream system integrations impact the overall solution.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:

- Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst in a complex enterprise environments.
- A comprehensive understanding of Software Development, the SDLC and technical concepts.
- Excellent reporting skills and experience and advanced Excel knowledge.
- Outstanding communication skills and a pro-active approach to engaging with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working on Data Warehouse projects or within retail / logistics environments is highly regarded.
- Prior experience working with Snowflake technologies is also advantageous.
