The Kmart Group is leading the charge in pioneering initiatives in the field of online fulfillment, to meet the ever-evolving needs of digital retail. As such we are seeking an experienced Analytics Lead who will through their leadership and expertise, play a crucial role in driving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and ultimately shaping the future of online fulfillment in our Organsation. This role will be based in Kmart’s National Office in Mulgrave and will report to the Head of Analytics – Supply Chain Transformation.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

As an Analytics Lead – Online Fulfilment, you will:

 

  • Design and deliver an analytics roadmap that drives optimization of online fulfillment across our store and centralized network.
  • Act as the bridge between business users, stakeholders, and the data engineering/data science team. Ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the end-to-end process of scoping, development, and agile delivery of analytical solutions.
  • Dive deep into business goals and challenges. Apply problem framing, design thinking, and analytics techniques to translate requirements to data scientists and articulate analytical outputs back to business teams.
  • Ensure that the analytics solution produces actionable insights, communicates their benefits effectively to business users, and fosters adoption, ultimately driving value realization.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in analytics translation, product ownership, analytics consulting, or data science/machine learning solutions
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Experience working in Online Fulfilment would be preferable.   
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members, analytics professionals, and business stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication style, effective presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High levels of curiosity with considered and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Experience in agile development methodology and product management
