This is a critical leadership position responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of our NSW Omnichannel Fulfilment Centre, supporting both eCommerce and store replenishment across Kmart and Target.

To begin your journey, you will support the completion of the new facility build. Leveraging your Project Management experience, and skills across automation, supply chain and transformation. Ensuring the site is prepared to deliver safe, reliable, cost‑effective and high‑quality fulfilment outcomes.

You’ll then shift into operational excellence, optimising advanced automation, and partnering closely with technology, commercial, logistics and network teams to maximise throughput, service levels and inventory flow. This site is a key enabler of our future supply chain strategy — and you’ll be at the centre of it, leading a large, diverse workforce.

What you’ll be doing
Â
- Leading and developing a high‑performing team of leaders and 400+ team members.
- Building a culture anchored in safety, accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Delivering daily fulfilment and distribution targets across online and store channels.
- Ensuring optimal flow through automation systems and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Overseeing inbound, outbound, replenishment and returns operations.
- Managing operating budgets, labour planning, forecasting and vendor/3PL relationships.
- Driving productivity improvements and reducing cost‑per‑unit while maintaining service.
- Ensuring compliance across labour, transport, environmental and facility requirements.
- Leading emergency preparedness, incident management and risk control systems.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
Â
- 15+ years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, large‑scale retail operations or a similar complex environments.
- Proven success leading large teams (400–600 people) in complex, fast‑moving environments.
- Experience in multichannel fulfilment.
- Experience commissioning or operating greenfield/brownfield sites (highly desirable).
- Strong capability in automation, WMS, forecasting, labour planning and operational reporting.
- Deep understanding of safety, compliance, risk and industrial relations.
- A leadership style grounded in emotional intelligence, collaboration and performance.
