Team Leaders - Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) - Moorebank, Sydney 
 

The Catch Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Moorebank will shortly transfer to be operated by Kmart Group (Kmart and Target). In readiness for this transition, expected in mid-2025, we are growing our site team. This is an amazing opportunity to play a key leadership role that will support the centralised fulfilment of home delivery orders for two of the most loved and iconic Australian retail brands, Kmart and Target. 
 

What you'll be doing: 

 

You will be responsible for the daily operations of the site departments, ensuring that safety, service, and financial performance targets are met. Your focus will be on delivering the vision while maintaining compliance with the Code of Responsibility (COR) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards in relation to safety, people, and values. You will also oversee operational performance, customer service, strategy, and commercial objectives on both a shift and weekly basis.  

 

Other responsibilities include (and are not limited to): 
 

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and team members to prepare for future extended operations and support ongoing growth. 

  • Accountable for safety by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, enhancing safety performance, and celebrating achievements. 

  • Responsible for conducting safety inductions and ensuring safe operating procedures are effectively implemented. 

  • Skilled in reporting and documenting risks and hazards, ensuring they are actioned and escalated as necessary. 

  • Experienced in investigating, documenting, and implementing outcomes from site incidents. 

  • Monitoring hourly performance against targets as a COR stakeholder to ensure end-of-day targets are achieved. 

  • Contributing to the budgeting process and monitoring expenditure to ensure site efficiencies. 

  • Proficient in managing and reviewing annual and monthly forecasts based on KPIs and cost accounting principles, while understanding current and future business needs. 

  • Committed to driving a positive, open, and honest culture within the team. 

  • Responsible for performance management and career development in line with company values and behaviours. 

  • Involved in the development and execution of succession plans to enable future talent growth within the site. 

  • Accountable for ensuring compliance with company policies, code of conduct, awards, equal employment opportunities, and relevant legislation. 

  • Ensuring successful completion of assigned compliance training across the site. 

  • Focused on sustainable solutions through Lean continuous improvement ideation and monitoring of outcomes. 

 

The skills you'll have: 

 

  • Qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field  

  • Experience in supply chain management, enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency. 

  • Background in transportation, contributing to optimized logistics and delivery processes. 

  • Skilled in forecasting techniques, aiding in accurate business planning and resource allocation. 

  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on Lean continuous improvement to identify and eliminate waste. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, ensuring accurate insights.
