We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join a team of curious and passionate designers reporting to and supported by the UX Lead.


What you’ll be doing


As a UX Designer in our Digital tribe you will be accountable for understanding the needs of the online customer before, during and after their use of our online products and services.   

  • Practice user-centered design to ensure the customer is brought into the design process at every stage
  • Create and share easy to understand maps of users experience for the team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product teams to create end-to-end experiences that are customer friendly, accessible, profitable and can be rolled out in a timely manner
  • Design high quality wireframes that reuse established design patterns
  • Utilise your prototyping skills with software and tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, Miro, whiteboard etc
  • Collaborate with UI designers and developers to ensure design handoff through to UAT is seamless and the integrity of the designs remains at a high standard


Other skills and experience will include:


  • Ability to run effective design critiques and present your work to product teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to carry out and document customer research, such as usability testing
  • Strong experience and knowledge of customer journey maps, user flows, information architecture, wireframing, and strong knowledge of UX principles and the latest design patterns
  • Experience and working knowledge of AB testing and applying findings to inform future improvements
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about usability and accessibility, with the ability to translate this into your work.
  • Good technical knowledge to understand what is and isn't possible
