Are you ready to lead a major transformation in supply chain technology? We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Supply Chain Technology team and drive delivery for the Next Gen Distribution Centre program. This is a unique opportunity to work on critical technology components that shape how we plan and prepare for the future of distribution—optimising container yard planning, DC scheduling, and transport management through advanced systems and applications.

This role will be offered as a 12 month, fixed term contract.

You’ll play a key role in delivering technology solutions that provide visibility and control over warehouse operations, ensuring our operations run efficiently and effectively. What you’ll be doing

 

  • Leading the delivery of key technology and process components for the Next Gen Distribution Centre program.
  • Managing end-to-end project activities including schedule design, build, testing, and implementation.
  • Coordinating requirements workshops and working closely with domestic and international supply chain teams.
  • Overseeing work across that interacts with multiple Supply Chain systems, including WCS, WMS, and other bespoke applications for planning and preparation.
  • Driving project governance, reporting progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Working with mixed onshore and offshore teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Applying agile-inspired delivery practices while maintaining strong project management discipline.


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, ideally 7+ years in complex delivery environments.
  • Strong background in supply chain, transport logistics, or a similar industry (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to manage projects that interface with multiple domains and stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial management, risk and issue management, and scheduling tools (SmartSheets preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A proactive, independent approach combined with the ability to take direction when required.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working with squads is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Distribution Centre processes and planning will be highly regarded.
