We're looking for a Workforce Demand Forecast Planner to join our Customer & Team Member Experience team and play a key role in shaping how labour demand is planned across our store network.

 

Partnering closely with Workforce Planning, Store Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll help build and refine demand forecasts that support informed workforce decisions and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex data, uncovering insights and translating demand drivers into practical planning solutions that have a tangible impact across the business.

 

Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll combine analytical expertise, forecasting capability and commercial thinking to improve forecast accuracy, support workforce planning outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


What you’ll be doing

 

  • Build, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasts using sales, transaction and operational data to support workforce planning decisions.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities that improve forecast accuracy and business outcomes.
  • Translate demand forecasts into actionable outputs that support labour planning, scheduling and workforce allocation across the store network.
  • Validate data inputs, assumptions and forecasting models to ensure forecast quality, accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor forecast performance, investigate variances and identify opportunities for ongoing refinement and optimisation.
  • Partner with Workforce Planning and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements and support demand-driven decision making.
  • Support the integration of forecast outputs into workforce planning systems and scheduling processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance forecasting capability, planning effectiveness and operational execution.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Experience in workforce demand planning, forecasting, workforce planning, workforce analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large datasets to uncover insights and support business decisions.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including data manipulation, trend analysis, modelling and validation.
  • Experience developing, maintaining or enhancing forecasting models and planning tools.
  • Experience working with UKG Pro Workforce Management as the workforce management platforms .
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations.
  • A commercial mindset and an understanding of how forecasting impacts operational performance and workforce outcomes.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience within retail, customer-facing or large operational environments will be highly regarded.
