We are seeking a Time & Attendance Program Manager to take end‑to‑end accountability for Kmart Group’s Time & Attendance platform (UKG Pro).
This newly created role is responsible for the ongoing governance, stability and compliance of the system across our store and distribution centre network. You will work closely with Payroll, Workplace Relations, Store Operations and systems teams to ensure time and attendance processes are accurate, compliant with industrial obligations and fit for operational use.
This is a key role with a strong focus on risk management, system integrity and continuous improvement in a complex, high‑volume environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the Time & Attendance platform, including governance frameworks, system configuration decisions and documentation.
- Manage work intake, backlog prioritisation and delivery of system enhancements, fixes and operational changes.
- Partner with Payroll and Workplace Relations to ensure timekeeping practices support correct pay outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee system testing, release management and defect resolution to maintain platform stability.
- Lead and support the UKG Store Support Manager, providing clear direction, prioritisation and performance expectations.
- Develop and maintain reporting to support audits, compliance reviews and internal assurance activities.
- Translate industrial instruments, awards and enterprise agreements into compliant system and process outcomes.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to reduce risk, manual intervention and complexity.

You will bring a strong operational mindset, attention to detail and confidence working within regulated environments.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in time & attendance, workforce management, payroll or pay compliance, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
- Hands‑on experience supporting or administering workforce management or T&A systems (UKG Pro experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of Australian industrial relations requirements as they relate to timekeeping and pay outcomes.
- Experience managing prioritisation and delivery in environments where accuracy and compliance are critical.
- Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including translating technical or industrial requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and system integrity.
- Experience leading or coordinating team members or vendors (desirable).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline are preferred.
