Kmart Group are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager - Stores, Customer Fulfilment Centres & Distribution Centres to lead a high-performing team and drive innovative, scalable and inclusive recruitment practices across our operational network. What you’ll be doing

As a Talent Acquisition Manager - Stores, Customer Fulfilment Centres & Distribution Centres working for Kmart Group you will:          

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across Stores, CFCs and DCs, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Drive technology assisted improvements in recruitment processes, utilising AI, reporting insights and third‑party partnerships to increase efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Analyse recruitment performance metrics, deliver insights and ensure compliance with SuccessFactors processes, legislative requirements and working rights.
  • Oversee onboarding compliance, including contracts, background checks and employment documentation for AU & NZ.
  • Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies and advertising campaigns to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Ensure all job ads, communications and candidate touchpoints reflect the Kmart & Target employee value proposition and employer brand.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused team environment.
  • Coach, support and upskill hiring managers and People & Capability Business Partners on best practice, inclusive recruitment methodologies.


 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • 7+ years' recruitment experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume or complex environment (retail preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience coaching and motivating teams.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice recruitment methodologies, diversity and inclusion principles, and talent attraction strategies.
  • An analytical and continuous improvement mindset with proven experience and desire to enhance recruitment processes with technology utilisation.
  • Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors highly regarded) and proactive sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and communicate with clarity, influence and professionalism.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field (preferred).
