Our Workplace Technology Team is dedicated to managing and optimising the technology infrastructure and systems across our 8 corporate office locations globally. They ensure seamless operation of our system, providing essential support and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness of our workplace environment.
As a Systems Engineer within the team, you will provide operational management of our technology infrastructure and devices, from set-up and deployment to ongoing maintenance and support and end-of-life decommissioning. Â This includes handing our state of the art workplace technologies including Smart lockers, smart desk and work experience app.

What you’ll be doing:

- Being responsible for hardware, virtual machines and software lifecycle for workplace technology. while driving improvement and support to the workplace experience in all support offices in Australia and overseas.
- Providing exceptional support to Kmart and Target team members including the Leadership team. in Australia and overseas on all matters relating to workplace technology.
- Supporting the rollout of new technology initiatives related to workplace technology including enabling team members to adopt new technologies and promoting best behaviours and practices
- Driving adoption by increasing ROI with new technologies and tools owned by workplace technology. Ensuring the business uses the technology effectively and gets value from it. This would include hosting training & workshops in addition to creating documentation for the stakeholders in the business.
- Managing SaaS platforms owned by Workplace Technology, including user and licence management, as well as driving architecture decisions, integrations, and future development.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

- Demonstrated relevant technical experience and outstanding dedication to providing exceptional customer service to users.
- Excellent focus, attention-to-detail, time management and prioritisation skills.
- An in-depth understanding of enterprise systems including Office 365, Azure AD as well as application deployment using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of technology trends and issues.
- Proven performance in planning, designing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-based computing infrastructure in a large scale, complex and distributed business environment.
- Demonstrated expertise of DRP and security issues
- A broad technical knowledge of computing products and experience automating processes and tasks.
- Good communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills as well as the ability to present complex technical and security information in simple language.
