We have an exciting opportunity for a SuccessFactors Analyst (12 month FTC) to join our People & Capability team, supporting the ongoing security, compliance and optimisation of our SuccessFactors platform across the Kmart Group.

In this role, you’ll work closely with People & Capability, Technology, Risk and Security partners to ensure our people systems are secure, scalable and future‑ready. You’ll play a key role in enabling safe system design, supporting regulatory compliance, and translating business needs into effective SuccessFactors solutions as we continue to evolve and grow.

Please note this is a fixed term, 12 month contract opportunity.


What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll balance hands‑on system delivery with strong stakeholder partnership, ensuring our SuccessFactors environment operates securely, efficiently and in line with best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support SuccessFactors process improvements, with a strong focus on Employee Central and role-based permissions.
  • Govern system access, role design and security controls in line with privacy, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Risk, Audit and Security teams to support control testing, audits and remediation activities.
  • Analyse business, regulatory and compliance requirements and translate them into system enhancements or configuration changes.
  • Lead or contribute to system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate testing, documentation and change impacts to ensure safe and effective deployment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to People & Capability teams, helping them understand how systems, data and processes work together.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and advanced analytics in a responsible and compliant way.
  • Contribute to standard operating procedures and governance practices that support consistent, auditable system change.

 

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Proven experience working with HRIS platforms, ideally SuccessFactors, in a high‑volume or complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Central configuration, role‑based permissions, access controls and segregation of duties.
  • A solid understanding of data governance, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail and a risk‑aware mindset.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, upgrades, testing and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to explain complex system and data concepts in clear, plain language for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, curious and improvement‑focused approach, with confidence partnering across multiple teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Human Resources, Data/Analytics or a related discipline (desirable).
