We’re embarking on one of the most significant transformation programs in Kmart’s history — the Next Generation Omnichannel initiative — and we’re looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead this work.

 

In this role, you’ll oversee a major portfolio of supply chain modernisation projects that will shape the future of how we move products through our network and deliver to customers.

 

You’ll collaborate with teams across Supply Chain, Stores, Inventory, Merchandise, Technology and our external partners to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions that enable operational excellence and a world-class customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of the Next Generation Omnichannel program, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational goals.
  • Overseeing a portfolio of transformation projects across supply chain, distribution centres and supporting functions.
  • Driving consistent, scalable and future-ready solutions for Next Gen Distribution Centres, including design, planning and implementation.
  • Managing governance, program structures, Agile ways of working, risk mitigation and reporting for all program activity.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, SMEs, solution vendors, consultants, property developers and 3PL partners.
  • Leading, coaching and supporting a high-performing cross-functional team, including direct leadership of a Project Coordinator.
  • Removing roadblocks, resolving issues and ensuring project milestones, MVP outcomes and quality standards are met.
  • Bringing commercial insight and financial analysis to guide program decisions, prioritisation and business cases.
  • Ensuring safety, service and financial KPIs are understood, embedded and achieved across the program.
  • Supporting change management strategies to enable smooth adoption and strong engagement across the organisation. 

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

You’re a confident, collaborative leader with deep experience delivering complex, large-scale transformation programs. You can manage competing priorities, influence at all levels and bring teams together around shared goals. You’re commercially savvy, operationally minded and passionate about building future-ready supply chain capability.

 

You’ll also bring:

 

  • 7–10 years’ experience in program management, project delivery or transformation, ideally within supply chain, logistics or retail
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams and coaching people through change
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial metrics
  • Experience managing multiple projects autonomously in a fast-moving environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS and end-to-end supply chain processes
  • High level communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making capability
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage risk and deliver quality outcomes
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management or similar (Master’s preferred)
