We're looking for a Risk & Resilience Manager to help strengthen the way we manage technology, cyber security, third-party and AI risks across Kmart Group. This is an opportunity to partner with senior leaders, influence key business decisions, and provide confidence that our technology and cyber controls are operating effectively in an increasingly complex risk environment.

 

Working across a broad stakeholder network, you'll play a critical role in managing and improving resilience, driving better risk outcomes, and ensuring our technology and cyber risks remain within appetite.


What you’ll be doing

As a Risk & Resilience Manager working for Kmart Group you will:

 

  • Deliver independent assurance reviews across technology and cyber security controls.
  • Assess and monitor technology, cyber and third-party risks across applications, infrastructure, cloud services and data assets.
  • Conduct control reviews covering identity and access management, vulnerability management, secure configuration, incident response, resilience and recovery.
  • Perform deep-dive reviews of critical applications and platforms, identifying control gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Procurement, Legal, Commercial and Risk functions to embed effective risk management practices.
  • Support post-incident reviews, identify thematic risks and validate remediation activities.
  • Establish and maintain the Third Party Risk Management framework, standards and processes.
  • Prepare clear, actionable reporting and insights for leadership and governance forums.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • 7-10 years' experience in technology risk, cyber risk, internal audit, IT audit, AI governance or a related assurance environment.
  • Experience assessing technology, cyber and emerging technology risks, including third-party risk management with a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, controls assurance and governance practices enterprise wide.
  • Experience across enterprise risk management, risk appetite monitoring, and executive & board reporting.
  • Experience building next-generation risk capability and AI-enabled risk management.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and AI governance, including experience assessing risks associated with Generative AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives. Exposure to AI tools, copilots or agentic AI solutions, including the ability to design, build or govern AI agents, will be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts and evidence into practical business insights, recommendations and risk outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organisation including senior and executive level.
  • A curious, continuous improvement mindset, coupled with relevant qualifications in Technology, Cyber Security, Information Management, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC or AI-related certifications will be highly regarded.
