Join our team
Kmart Australia’s Merchandise and Supply Chain technology group is responsible for bringing products that delight our customers from across the globe into our stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. Â
We are creating the next generation of retail supply chain technology with be a focus across our warehouse management, transport/logistics, inventory optimisation, and demand and forecasting systems.
As a Project Manager you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our NextGen supply chain facilities project, working closely with Senior Project Managers ensure project milestones are met and on budget. Â You will combine your skills in hands-on project scheduling, financial tracking, and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic, onshore/offshore environment.

What you’ll be doing:

- Support Senior Project Managers in delivering the NextGen facility project across multiple workstreams.
- Assist in the management of multiple distinct project streams, including scheduling, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking, and financial management.
- Coordinate activities across onshore and offshore teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and schedules using Jira and SharePoint.
- Work in concert with our finance teams and track time and costs using Excel and Clockify.
- Monitor progress and report on project status to ensure milestones are met.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and communication, ensuring timely updates and alignment.
- Identify and escalate risks or issues to Senior PMs promptly.
- Contribute to process improvements and support adoption of new tools where applicable.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:

- Experience in as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator, ideally within large, complex, enterprise environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules, and financial tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Excel, and time-tracking platforms (e.g., Clockify).
- Ability to work effectively in an onshore/offshore delivery model and collaborate across multiple squads.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Experience in Supply Chain, logistics, warehousing or large retail environments is a bonus, but not essential.
