Join the team
We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Profit Protection team. This newly created role will lead the strategic uplift of our checkout AI platform - Everseen. Everseen combines AI computer vision and machine learning to identify scan errors at the checkout in real time.
The role is responsible for driving system led improvements, shaping the product roadmap, validating new features, and ensuring operational alignment through clear and practical intervention processes for store teams. Success will involve measurable improvements to accuracy, loss reduction, and the overall team member and checkout experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with Profit Protection, Finance, IT, Store Operations, and external vendors to drive sustainable product outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
Â
- Provide vision and direction to stakeholders to ensure the Everseen platform operates at its optimum.
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing initiatives that deliver maximum business and customer value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, shape the product roadmap, and align on objectives.
- Track, measure, and be accountable for product OKRs and success measures.
- Support process improvement, data analysis, and compliance initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across the business, ensuring alignment and transparency.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- 3–5 years in product management or ownership for a retail environment.
- Direct experience with Everseen technology is preferred but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management (Business, Commerce, or Technology or a relevant field), preferred not essential.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience in data mining, cleaning, and statistical analysis.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, influence outcomes, and drive change.
- Knowledge or interest in ecommerce trends and technologies.
