We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Analyst to join our General Merchandise Quality team.
This role brings together product quality and compliance, data analysis, governance reporting, AI-enabled insight generation and process optimisation. You will use data and emerging technologies to identify product risks, improve reporting and help strengthen quality, safety and compliance outcomes across our General Merchandise portfolio.
Working closely with Product Technologists, Merchandise, Quality, Sourcing and supplier partners, you will translate information into actionable insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.
What you’ll be doing

- Support product quality, safety and compliance initiatives across the General Merchandise product range.
- Coordinate product quality, compliance and testing activities, maintaining governance records, tracking actions and supporting delivery of quality and safety outcomes.
- Coordinate product samples, testing schedules, approvals and product development milestones, proactively tracking progress and highlighting risks or delays.
- Analyse product quality, testing and customer data using digital and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, emerging risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of digital and AI-generated insight processes for proactive product risk identification.
- Prepare governance reports, performance insights and trend analysis for operational and leadership audiences.
- Support investigations into product quality issues, customer complaints and non-compliance matters, including root-cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain product approvals, test reports and compliance documentation in line with established processes.
- Partner with Product Technologists, Merchandise, Quality, Sourcing and suppliers to improve product outcomes, support governance activities and progress continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- 3+ years’ experience in a quality, product development, compliance, technical, or related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards, performance summaries or data-driven insights for different audiences.
- Confidence using digital and AI-enabled tools to analyse information, automate reporting or improve business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to review processes, identify inefficiencies and support the implementation of practical optimisation opportunities.
- Understanding of quality management systems, product testing and compliance frameworks.
- Experience maintaining accurate technical documentation, governance records, data sources or compliance information. Experience working in general merchandise retail will be highly regarded.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly and influence positive outcomes.
- A curious, digital-oriented and solutions-focused mindset, with a willingness to experiment with emerging tools and identify better ways of working.
- Experience in retail, consumer products or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
