Are you ready to be part of a cross-functional team shaping the future of Technology at Kmart Australia?

The Pack & Size squad is a growing product team responsible for building new in‑house tools that help our business plan product sizing, pack configurations, and how items move through the supply chain.  Over the next 12 months, the team will be developing a new sizing tool for apparel and enhancing the way planners, assistants, and buyers decide how products are packed and sent to stores.  With engineers and a data scientist in Bangalore and design support locally, the squad is scaling up for a big year of delivery.

Join the team as an Iteration Manager and Business Analyst, working day‑to‑day with engineers, data specialists, and the business to keep delivery on track, shape requirements, and support change.  This is a fast‑paced, 12‑month program where we’re looking for someone proactive who can bring energy to a cross‑functional team, manage competing priorities, and turn complex problems into simple, practical solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Facilitating sprint ceremonies and keeping the squad aligned, focused, and moving.
  • Working with engineers, data scientists, designers, and the Product Owner to manage priorities and maintain delivery flow across Melbourne and Bangalore.
  • Translating business users’ needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Bringing structure to complex sizing and pack‑configuration work, helping the team break it into practical, buildable pieces.
  • Spotting risks, dependencies, and blockers early and driving the conversations needed to resolve them.
  • Supporting adoption by helping ensure the tool is intuitive, consistent, and solves real planning problems.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Strong experience as an Iteration Manager, Scrum Master, or Technical BA in Agile teams.
  • Confident working with Jira and Confluence and keeping delivery rhythms clean and organised.
  • Ability to run workshops, gather requirements, and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities with calm, structured communication.
  • Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Experience in large organisations; retail or supply chain exposure is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • A proactive, curious approach and a focus on helping teams deliver high‑quality work.

Perks and benefits we’ll offer you:

  • Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy, spending 60% of your week in our National Office
  • We’ll provide multiple ways for you to learn from online micro-credentialing in Udemy, support to gain certifications to tech community events and more.
  • Great career opportunities across the broader Wesfarmers Group.
  • We offer inclusive leave and ongoing support for team members of all backgrounds and family circumstances.
  • Free onsite parking when you’re required to come into the office.
  • We want you to feel rewarded for your commitment and hard work that's why everyone gets the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
  • A team member discount card that gives you a discount at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, and Officeworks.
  • A free OnePass membership offering free delivery across Kmart & Target on eligible products.
  • Access to the Kmart for You benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health – with over 60 suppliers!
  • Reflection room, space for prayer, meditation, or time for yourself.
  • Wesfarmers is Kmart’s parent company and each year eligible employees can elect to purchase shares through a salary sacrifice arrangement.
