We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory and Forecast Manager to join our team within the Online category! In this role you will ensure optimal inventory levels at Central Fulfilment Centres and store supporting online to maximise sales and profits. Drive forecast and allocation accuracy improvements for locations supporting online fulfilment.


What you’ll be doing

As an Inventory and Forecast Manager working for Kmart you will:          

  • Lead a team that ensures sufficient inventory availability for online customers
  • Ensure accurate online trade forecasts
  • Ensure seamless execution in collaboration with online fulfilment, inventory and trade teams
  • Ensure right apportionment of inventory to central fulfilment centres, hub, feeder and click and collect stores
  • Recommend and manage inventory parameters for online CFCs
  • Effectively plan and coordinate monthly meetings with key stakeholders to ensure commercial and inventory management objectives are achieved

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • An Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or Forecasting.
  • Experience with Allocations and Demand and Fulfillment systems for online.
  • Strong forecasting and replenishment planning expertise.
  • Preferably, experience in online retail management.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capability.
