As an Insights Data Analyst you’ll help us unlock the power of data and drive smarter decisions across our store network.

 

Balancing between both the technical and the business-facing aspects of the role, you will partner with store leaders to shape decisions and track outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

 

As an Insights Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our stores operate and perform. Your day-to-day will include:

 

  • Act as the primary business partner for allocated stakeholder groups across our store operations.
  • Run ad-hoc analysis and rapid deep-dives to answer operational questions and test hypotheses.
  • Translate analysis into concise, action-oriented recommendations as well as expected impact/outcomes.
  • Present findings in meetings and facilitate decision-focused conversations.
  • Feed recurring issues and insights back into dashboard workstreams for continuous improvement.
  • Own a small set of operational metrics and story packs, track interventions and measure outcomes.
  • Work with BI developers and data engineers to prioritise dashboard fixes/enhancements driven by user need.
  • Help design simple experiments or pilots (AB tests, before/after, control vs. test) to measure impact.


 To be successful in this role you’ll have:

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen and communication skills.

 

Ideally, you’ll bring:

 

  • Strong business partnering / stakeholder management experience (preferably in retail, logistics, or operations).
  • Advanced Excel and SQL (able to extract and manipulate data independently).
  • Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Looker - comfortable navigating dashboards & creating light visualisations.
  • Comfortable crafting concise narrative insights (one-page briefs, slide decks, emails).
  • Proven track record of turning analysis into implemented change and measurable outcomes.
  • Problem-solving mindset: turning ambiguous questions into testable hypotheses.
  • Excellent verbal presentation skills - can present to managers and explain recommendations clearly.
