The Kmart Digital team plays a key role in shaping the online and in‑store experiences for millions of customers.  We work across web, mobile, personalisation, payments, and the broader digital ecosystem to deliver products that are simple, intuitive, and customer‑centred.


As a Business Analyst, you’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across the business to help deliver digital solutions that improve the way customers discover, shop, and interact with Kmart online.  This is a great opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment where your work has real impact on how customers experience our brand.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

 

  • Facilitating workshops and gathering requirements to understand business needs, customer problems, and technical considerations.
  • Translating requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for delivery teams.
  • Working with cross‑functional teams to shape solution options, identify process improvements, and support decision‑making.
  • Supporting Agile delivery practices, including story refinement, sprint planning, and review activities.
  • Helping manage change impacts by ensuring stakeholders understand new processes, system updates, and customer experience implications.
  • Building strong relationships with product, engineering, marketing, and operational teams to support smooth delivery across initiatives.


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst in digital, ecommerce, or technology environments.
  • A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to collaborate closely with technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Miro, Mural, or process‑mapping tools like Visio or Draw.io.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to distil complex information into clear, structured outputs.
  • Experience working in retail or customer‑facing digital environments is advantageous.
