Department: GM Quality Control

Location: Shanghai / Dongguan / Hongkong

 

Team Member Minimum Requirements
Required Qualification Level: Bachelor Degree (Undergrad) Qualification Field: Industrial Engineering
Preferred Qualification Level: Bachelor (Honours) Qualification Field: Industrial Engineering
Level of role: Team member Years of Experience required for role: 5-7 years
Individual contributors provide organisational related support or service (administrative or clerical) OR roles operating in a “hands on” environment in support of daily business activities (e.g., technical, production or craft levels). The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Work typically requires a high school degree or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree.
Technical Skills required:      
Proven hands-on manufacturing experience In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma
Strong understanding of quality management systems and best practices Rich experience in operational & project management
Traits / Abilities:
Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities Ability to influence without direct control of resources
Effective communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and good team player

Manufacturing Excellence - Conduct preliminary factory technical audit focus on industry model
- Identify gaps between current practices and business requirements
- Provide recommendation for improving production techniques and processes.
- Govern the execution of these improvements

Production Re-engineering - Identify opportunities for production technical and/or process improvement based on critical quality concerns at the product level.
- Provide guidance and monitor suppliers during the execution of these improvements
