Title:  Graphic Designer

Description: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Melbourne menswear design team to support seasonal collections and product development.
  • Create compelling, on-trend graphics for menswear, particularly for youth-focused ranges.
  • Assist in design administration tasks including the preparation of tech packs, file management, CAD updatesco-creation packs and PLM tasks.
  • Visit local and international brands in Shanghai regularly to observe market newness, identify trends, and report insights back to the Melbourne team .
  • Translate creative direction into market-relevant and commercially viable graphic concepts.
  • Stay updated on emerging design trends, especially in the global youth and streetwear markets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers or factories (where required) to ensure clear and accurate communication of design intent.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in menswear graphics and/or apparel design (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Ability to create tech packs and assist with garment development.
  • A strong understanding of trends and cultural references relevant to the trend/youth market.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal – essential for effective collaboration with the Melbourne team.
  • Highly organiseddetail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
  • Proactive mindset with a collaborative and flexible approach.

 

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the Australian market or experience working with international teams.
  • Experience with print techniques and garment embellishments.
  • Experience using PLM.
