Job Title: Merchandiser - Production

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing production and ensuring consistent delivery performance at the right product quality level. 

• Provide reports and data for the Supplier Scorecard.

• Work with supplier and quality team for new line review.

• Ensure tracking processes in place to ensure fabric quality is tested and managed appropriately whether locally sourced or imported.

• Keep Manager informed of Vendor performance issues and support in follow-up actions.

• Travel to various factory locations to address production issues.

• A key collaborator between supplier, buying, quality, supply chain and sourcing teams and requires solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• 5~7 years of solid merchandising experience in apparel, preferably in buying office environment

• Familiar with apparel & supplier base knowledge

• Bachelor education

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories

• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently

• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Proficiency in MS Office and computer knowledge

• Self-discipline, good team player, self-motivated

• Frequent business travel is required.
